April 23, 2025: Newport, NH 03773 The Newport Tigers (Newport, NH) softball routed the visiting Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH), 10-0 in Wednesday's league outing.
The Tigers now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stevens for a Division III outing on Friday, April 25. Newport will encounter a Cardinals team coming off a 10-0 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, Fall Mountain moves to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Mascoma (Canaan, NH) to encounter the Royals in a Division III outing on Friday, April 25. The Royals come into the outing with a record of 0-2.
