The Lakeside Dragons baseball squad (Ashtabula, OH), was overwhelmed 11-7 in Thursday's league contest with the host Conneaut Spartans (Conneaut, OH)

With the triumph, Conneaut moves its record to 3-8 on the season. The Spartans host St. John (Ashtabula, OH) to confront the Heralds in a non-league contest on Friday, April 24. The Heralds come into the contest with a record of 7-5. St. John lost 6-5 in their recent league contest against Grand Valley (Orwell, OH)

The Dragons now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a Chagrin Valley - Lake contest on Monday, April 27. Lakeside will confront a Blue Streaks squad coming off a 5-5 league Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH). The Blue Streaks record now stands at 4-4.
