The Eunice Cardinals baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Dexter Demons to 0 in the Cardinals non-league win on Thursday.

The Cardinals now hold a 21-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loving for a 2A District 4 test on Saturday, April 25. Eunice will play a Falcons team coming off a 1-0 league win over Jal (Jal, NM). The Falcons record now stands at 12-8.

With the defeat, Dexter drops to 4-14 on the year. The Demons host Bosque (Albuquerque, NM) to play the Bobcats in a 3A District 4/5 test on Saturday, April 25. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 6-13. Bosque won 11-5 in their recent non-league test against Laguna Acoma (New Laguna, NM)
