The Montello Hilltoppers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the host Fall River Pirates to 10 in the Hilltoppers league win on Thursday.

The Hilltoppers now hold a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pardeeville for a Trailways-North test on Monday, April 27. Montello will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 23-0 non-league win over Rio (Rio, WI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Fall River drops to 1-4 on the year. The Pirates travel to Williams Bay (Williams Bay, WI) to play the Bulldogs in a Trailways-South test on Saturday, April 25.
