The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Broadwater Academy Vikings (Exmore, VA) and the host Northampton Yellowjackets (Eastville, VA), observed Broadwater Academy's softball team prevail over Northampton by a tally of 17-1.

The Vikings (8-2) will now prepare for their bout against Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Crusaders go into the non-league bout with a 6-8 record. In their last bout, Catholic was routed by Tallwood (Virginia Beach, VA), 7-0, in a non-league bout.
