The Milford Bearcats softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Covington Trojans to 11 in the Bearcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Bearcats now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westville for a Vermilion Valley battle on Monday, April 27. Milford will confront a Tigers team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.

With the loss, Covington moves to 9-5 on the season. The Trojans host Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to confront the Mounties in a non-league battle on Monday, April 27. The Mounties come into the battle with a record of 8-2. Southmont won 22-0 in their recent league battle against Frankfort (Frankfort, IN)
