The New Hope Indians (New Hope, AL) softball routed the visiting Section Lions (Section, AL), 16-1 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Indians now sport a 17-19 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West End for a non-league outing on Friday, April 24. New Hope will encounter a Patriots team coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Locust Fork (Locust Fork, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 24-6.
