Holy Cross Crusaders (Dunmore, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Sunday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Old Forge Blue Devils (Old Forge, PA), 10-7 in a league challenge.

The Crusaders now sport a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Monday, April 25. Holy Cross will face a Vikings squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to West Scranton (Scranton, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 2-5.

With the loss, Old Forge falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Lakeland (Jermyn, PA) to face the Chiefs in a Lackawanna 3 challenge on Monday, April 25. The Chiefs enter the challenge with a record of 0-5.
