Illinois High School Baseball - Genoa-Kingston loses to Byron
April 24, 2023: Genoa, IL 60135 In Monday's league game, the visiting Byron Tigers baseball team scored a nice 15-0 victory over the Genoa-Kingston Cogs.
The Tigers (14-3) will now prepare for their game against Lutheran (Rockford, IL). The Crusaders go into the Big Northern game with a 1-8 record. In their last game, Lutheran was overwhelmed by Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL), 4-1, in a league game.
The Cogs (3-11) will now prepare for their game against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the Big Northern game with a 8-9 record. In their last game, Oregon ran past Winnebago (Winnebago, IL), 8-1, in a league game.
