Ohio High School Lacrosse - Newark drops to Licking Valley
April 24, 2023: Newark, OH 43055 In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Licking Valley Panthers lacrosse squad scored a tight 9-5 victory over the Newark Wildcats.
The Panthers now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Grove City for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 26. Licking Valley will face a Greyhounds squad coming off a 7-5 non-league loss to Archbishop Alter (Kettering, OH). The Greyhounds record now stands at 1-3.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Pickerington North Panthers (Pickerington, OH) in a Region 3 test, on Tuesday, April 25. Newark will attempt to move on its 6-5 season record. The Panthers come into the test with a 6-5 record after their 11-6 non-league loss to Olentangy Orange (Lewis Center, OH).
