Virginia High School Soccer - Windsor nudges Southampton
April 24, 2023: Windsor, VA 23487 Windsor Dukes (Windsor, VA) fans were thrilled Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Southampton Indians (Courtland, VA), 3-2 in a league challenge.
Next, the Dukes confront the Brunswick Bulldogs (Lawrenceville, VA) in a Tri-Rivers challenge, on Monday, May 1. Windsor will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 0-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Surry County (Dendron, VA).
The Indians now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Surry County for a Tri-Rivers challenge on Wednesday, April 26. Southampton will confront a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over Brunswick (Lawrenceville, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 4-6.
