South Carolina High School Softball - Carvers Bay bounces Waccamaw
April 24, 2023: Pawley's Island, SC 29585 Carvers Bay Bears (Hemingway, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Waccamaw Warriors (Pawley's Island, SC), 6-2 in a non-league challenge.
The Bears now own a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they host Hannah-Pamplico for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 25. Carvers Bay will battle a Raiders squad coming off a 16-0 non-league win over East Clarendon (Turbeville, SC). The Raiders record now stands at 11-3.
With the loss, Waccamaw falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Loris (Loris, SC) to battle the Lions in a AAA Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, April 25. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 18-4. Loris won 9-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Johnsonville (Johnsonville, SC)
