April 24, 2024: Upper Marlboro, MD 20772 Douglass Eagles (Upper Marlboro, MD) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD), 10-8 in a league test.
With the win, Douglass upgrades its record to 11-0 on the season. The Eagles host Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD) to battle the Clippers in a Prince George's County 3/2A/1A test on Friday, April 26. The Clippers come into the test with a record of 6-3.
With the defeat, Gwynn Park falls to 9-3 on the season. The Yellowjackets host International High School at Largo (Largo, MD) to battle the Sea Turtles in a non-league test on Friday, April 26. The Sea Turtles come into the test with a record of 0-2. International High School at Largo lost 13-9 in their recent league test against Surrattsville (Clinton, MD)
