April 24, 2024: Chicago, IL 60639 The North Grand Eagle Owls held off the visiting Chicago Academy Cougars volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Wednesday's league test.
The Eagle Owls now have a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Senn for a Chicago Public Red - North test on Friday, April 26. North Grand will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 2-1 league win over Mather (Chicago, IL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-3.
The Cougars (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Rickover Naval (Chicago, IL). The Seadragons enter the Chicago Public Red - North test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Rickover Naval held off Schurz (Chicago, IL), 2-0, in a league test.
