April 24, 2024: Garner, NC 27529 Fuquay - Varina Bengals (Fuquay-Varina, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host South Garner Titans (Garner, NC), 9-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Bengals face the Corinth Holders Pirates (Wendell, NC) in a Greater Neuse River 4A challenge, on Monday, April 29. Fuquay - Varina will attempt to better on its 8-4 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-6 record after their 3-0 league win over Garner (Garner, NC).
The Titans now have a 5-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Knightdale for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. South Garner will face a Knights team coming off a 11-1 league loss to Wakefield (Raleigh, NC). The Knights record now stands at 0-18.
