North Carolina High School Soccer - NCSSM: Morganton nudges Owen
April 24, 2024: Black Mountain, NC 28711 NCSSM: Morganton (Morganton, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Owen Warhorses (Black Mountain, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the face the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, April 29. NCSSM: Morganton will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 league loss to Madison (Marshall, NC).
The Warhorses now have a 4-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Avery County for a Western Highlands 1A/2A challenge on Wednesday, May 1.
