Tennessee High School Softball - Arlington bounces Covington
April 24, 2024: Arlington, TN 38002 The Arlington Tigers routed the visiting Covington Chargers softball squad by a final score of 17-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Tigers (21-4) will now prepare for their battle against Dyer County (Newbern, TN). The Choctaws go into the non-league battle with a 22-15 record. In their last battle, Dyer County was routed by Dyersburg (Dyersburg, TN), 6-2, in a league battle.
The Chargers now possess a 4-22 record. They play next when they host Raleigh-Egypt for a 3A District 15 battle on Thursday, April 25. Covington will meet a Pharaohs squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Pharaohs record now stands at 4-2.
