April 24, 2024: Destin, FL 32541 The Escambia Gators routed the host Destin Sharks softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Gators (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against Pine Forest (Pensacola, FL). The Eagles go into the non-league battle with a 7-9 record. In their last battle, Pine Forest was routed by Baker (Baker, FL), 9-5, in a non-league battle.
The Sharks now sport a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Pensacola for a non-league battle on Friday, April 26. Destin will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 21-5 non-league loss to Pensacola Catholic (Pensacola, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-12.
