April 24, 2024: Butler, IN 46721 In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Eastside Blazers (Butler, IN) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Lakeland Lakers (LaGrange, IN), by a margin of 9-4.
With the triumph, Eastside moves its record to 13-2 on the year. The Blazers host Central Noble (Albion, IN) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Thursday, April 25. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 11-4. Central Noble won 17-0 in their recent non-league contest against Churubusco (Churubusco, IN)
In their next game, the Lakers play the West Noble Chargers (Ligonier, IN) in a Northeast Corner contest, on Tuesday, April 30. Lakeland will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Chargers come into the contest with a 4-8 record after their 9-4 non-league loss to Fairfield (Goshen, IN).
