California High School Softball - Riverbank bounces Escalon

April 24, 2024: Riverbank, CA 95367

Riverbank Bruins (Riverbank, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Escalon Cougars (Escalon, CA), 11-6 in a league challenge.

The Bruins now own a 13-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hughson for a Trans Valley League challenge on Friday, April 26. Riverbank will battle a Huskies squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-10.

With the loss, Escalon falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Hilmar (Hilmar, CA) to battle the Yellowjackets in a Trans Valley League challenge on Friday, April 26. The Yellowjackets enter the challenge with a record of 10-12. Hilmar lost 8-5 in their recent league challenge against Livingston (Livingston, CA)
