Florida High School Softball - Lake Nona bounces University
April 24, 2024: Orlando, FL 32832 Lake Nona Lions (Orlando, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting University Cougars (Orlando, FL), 18-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions now own a 10-9 record. They take the field next when they host Cypress Creek for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. Lake Nona will battle a Bears squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Tohopekaliga (Kissimmee, FL). The Bears record now stands at 7-15.
With the loss, University falls to 1-18 on the campaign. The Cougars host Seminole (Sanford, FL) to battle the Seminoles in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Seminoles enter the challenge with a record of 13-6. Seminole won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Boone (Orlando, FL)
