Connecticut High School Softball - St. Bernard nudges Montville
April 24, 2024: Oakdale, CT 06370 St. Bernard Saints (Uncasville, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Montville Wolves (Oakdale, CT), 5-4 in a non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Ledyard for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. St. Bernard will battle a Colonels squad coming off a 13-2 non-league win over Lyman Memorial (Lebanon, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Montville falls to 6-4 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Putnam (Putnam, CT) to battle the Clippers in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. The Clippers enter the challenge with a record of 2-4.
