Ohio High School Softball - New Philadelphia bounces Wooster
April 24, 2024: Wooster, OH 44691 New Philadelphia Quakers (New Philadelphia, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Wooster Generals (Wooster, OH), 14-5 in a league challenge.
The Quakers now own a 10-6 record. They take the field next when they host Dover for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26. New Philadelphia will battle a Crimson Tornadoes squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Indian Creek (Wintersville, OH). The Crimson Tornadoes record now stands at 16-3.
With the loss, Wooster falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Generals travel to Ashland (Ashland, OH) to battle the Arrows in a Ohio Cardinal challenge on Thursday, April 25. The Arrows enter the challenge with a record of 1-8. Ashland lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against West Holmes (Millersburg, OH)
