Kansas High School Baseball - Nemaha Central holds off Holton
April 24, 2025: Holton, KS 66436 The Nemaha Central Thunder baseball team scored 5 runs and held the host Holton Wildcats to 1 in the Thunder league win on Thursday.
The Thunder now own a 10-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Marys for a Big Seven test on Monday, April 28. Nemaha Central will clash with a Bears team coming off a 12-2 league win over Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS). The Bears record now stands at 8-8.
With the defeat, Holton drops to 4-11 on the year. The Wildcats host Rossville (Rossville, KS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Monday, April 28. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 7-7. Rossville won 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS)
