April 24, 2025: Roanoke, VA 24015 Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) followers left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting James River Knights (Buchanan, VA), 17-9 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Patrick Henry moves its record to 4-8 on the season. The Patriots travel to Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA) to battle the Bruins in a River Ridge match on Tuesday, April 29. The Bruins come into the match with a record of 10-2. Blacksburg won 7-1 in their recent league match against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)
The Knights now possess a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Floyd County for a Three Rivers match on Tuesday, April 29. James River will battle a Buffaloes squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 10-4.
