In Thursday's non-league game, the host Ranney baseball team scored a nice 16-1 victory over the Middletown South Eagles.

The (7-3) will now prepare for their game against Manalapan (Englishtown, NJ). The Braves enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Manalapan was overwhelmed by Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NJ), 4-2, in a non-league game.

Next, the Eagles face the Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ) in a Shore - A North game, on Saturday, April 26. Middletown South will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Rebels enter the game with a 8-5 record after their 6-5 league loss to Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ).
