April 24, 2025: Richmond, VA 23233 Godwin Eagles (Richmond, VA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Thursday as they saw their lacrosse team gain a win over the visiting Deep Run Wildcats (Glen Allen, VA), 11-8 in a league game.
With the victory, Godwin improves its record to 7-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Monday, April 28. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 7-3. Patrick Henry lost 21-8 in their recent league game against Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA)
The Wildcats now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cosby for a non-league game on Monday, April 28. Deep Run will play a Titans team coming off a 22-0 league win over Manchester (Midlothian, VA). The Titans record now stands at 6-3.
