In Thursday's league match, the visiting Quartz Hill Royals softball team scored a tight 14-9 win over the Highland Bulldogs.

The Royals (3-2) will now prepare for their match against West Ranch (Valencia, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league match with a 4-15 record. In their last match, West Ranch was routed by Saugus (Saugus, CA), 18-1, in a league match.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Hart Hawks (Newhall, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, May 3. Highland will attempt to better on its 18-9 season record.
