Virginia High School Soccer - Warhill knocks off Denbigh
April 24, 2025: Williamsburg, VA 23188 Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Warhill Lions (Williamsburg, VA) and the visiting Denbigh Patriots (Newport News, VA), saw Warhill's soccer squad triumph over Denbigh by a count of 8-0.
The Lions (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, VA). The Red Devils enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Lancaster notched a victory over Westmoreland (Montross, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next up, the Patriots confront the Warwick Raiders (Newport News, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 29. Denbigh will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA).
