Virginia High School Softball - Staunton succumbs to Buffalo Gap
April 24, 2025: Swoope, VA 24479 In Thursday's league test, the Buffalo Gap Bison (Swoope, VA) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Staunton Storm (Staunton, VA), by a tally of 18-0.
Next, the Bison clash with the Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 29. Buffalo Gap will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Governors go into the test with a 2-7 record after their 10-9 league win over Altavista (Altavista, VA).
The Storm (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA). The Indians go into the Shenandoah test with a 7-4 record. In their last test, Fort Defiance prevailed over Riverheads (Staunton, VA), 6-2, in a league test.
