The West Branch Warriors edged the visiting Minerva Lions softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Alliance Aviators (Alliance, OH) in a Eastern Buckeye challenge, on Friday, April 25. West Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Aviators enter the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 13-0 league win over Salem (Salem, OH).

The Lions (5-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, OH). The Quakers enter the Eastern Buckeye challenge with a 7-10 record.
