The Union Area Scotties triumphed over the visiting Rochester Rams softball squad by a count of 16-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

Next, the Scotties play the Wilmington Greyhounds (New Wilmington, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 26. Union Area will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record.

The Rams (2-9) will now prepare for their challenge against South Side (Hookstown, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL 1A 1 challenge with a 5-7 record.
