The Beaver Local Beavers baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Minerva Lions to 7 in the Beavers non-league win on Friday.

The Beavers now hold a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Martins Ferry for a non-league test on Saturday, April 25. Beaver Local will play a Purple Riders team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Purple Riders record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Minerva drops to 7-7 on the year. The Lions travel to Canton South (Canton, OH) to play the Wildcats in a non-league test on Saturday, April 25. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 3-12. Canton South lost 4-2 in their recent league test against Fairless (Navarre, OH)
