Kearns Cougars (Kearns, UT) fans left the game pleased Friday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), 8-1 in a league match.

With the triumph, Kearns advances its record to 15-4 on the season. The Cougars host West Jordan (West Jordan, UT) to battle the Jaguars in a 5A Region 4 match on Tuesday, April 28. The Jaguars come into the match with a record of 12-7. West Jordan won 17-2 in their recent league match against West (Salt Lake City, UT)

The Huskies now have a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cyprus for a 5A Region 4 match on Tuesday, April 28. Hillcrest will battle a Pirates squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Hunter (West Valley City, UT). The Pirates record now stands at 15-4.
