The Monterey Toreadors baseball squad (Monterey, CA), was overwhelmed 9-5 in Friday's league contest with the visiting Salinas Cowboys (Salinas, CA)

With the triumph, Salinas moves its record to 7-14 on the season. The Cowboys host Soledad (Soledad, CA) to confront the Aztecs in a PCAL - Gabilan contest on Wednesday, April 29. The Aztecs come into the contest with a record of 7-13. Soledad lost 16-5 in their recent league contest against Hollister (Hollister, CA)

The Toreadors now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a PCAL - Gabilan contest on Wednesday, April 29. Monterey will confront a Sharks squad coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Pacific Grove (Pacific Grove, CA). The Sharks record now stands at 5-15.
