The Milpitas Trojans softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Mountain View Spartans to 5 in the Trojans league win on Friday.

The Trojans now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Gatos for a De Anza battle on Wednesday, April 29. Milpitas will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Capuchino (San Bruno, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 17-1.

With the loss, Mountain View moves to 7-13 on the season. The Spartans travel to Wilcox (Santa Clara, CA) to confront the Chargers in a De Anza battle on Wednesday, April 29. The Chargers come into the battle with a record of 13-6. Wilcox won 9-4 in their recent league battle against Homestead (Cupertino, CA)
