The Spring Mills Cardinals softball team scored 11 runs and held the host Washington Patriots to 10 in the Cardinals league win on Friday.

The Cardinals now possess a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host University for a Class AAAA North Region match on Monday, April 27. Spring Mills will battle a Hawks team coming off a 10-2 non-league win over Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV). The Hawks record now stands at 17-4.

In their next game, the Patriots battle the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a Class AAAA North Region match, on Tuesday, April 28. Washington will attempt to better on its 11-6 season record.
