New York High School Softball - Alfred-Almond bounces Arkport Central
April 25, 2023: Arkport, NY 14807 Alfred-Almond Eagles (Almond, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Arkport Central Bluejays (Arkport, NY), 18-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Addison for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 27. Alfred-Almond will battle a Knights squad coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Avoca Central (Avoca, NY). The Knights record now stands at 6-3.
With the loss, Arkport Central falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bluejays host Canisteo (Canisteo, NY) to battle the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 26. The Redskins enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
