New York High School Softball - South Lewis bounces Copenhagen
April 25, 2023: Copenhagen, NY 13626 South Lewis Falcons (Turin, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Copenhagen Golden Knights (Copenhagen, NY), 23-0 in a league challenge.
The Falcons now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Thousand Islands for a Section 3 Frontier C challenge on Wednesday, April 26. South Lewis will face a Vikings squad coming off a 11-0 non-league win over Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY). The Vikings record now stands at 6-1.
With the loss, Copenhagen falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Golden knights host Thousand Islands (Clayton, NY) to face the Vikings in a Section 3 Frontier C challenge on Monday, May 1. The Vikings enter the challenge with a record of 8-1. Thousand Islands won 15-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Lyme Central (Chaumont, NY)
