New York High School Softball - Copenhagen holds off Lyme Central
May 5, 2023: Chaumont, NY 13622 Copenhagen Golden Knights (Copenhagen, NY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lyme Central Indians (Chaumont, NY), 16-14 in a league challenge.
The Golden Knights now own a 2-5 record.
With the loss, Lyme Central falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Indians host Alexandria Central (Alexandria Bay, NY) to battle the Purple Ghosts in a Frontier D challenge on Saturday, May 6. The Purple Ghosts enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Alexandria Central won 15-6 in their recent league challenge against Beaver River (Beaver Falls, NY)
