April 25, 2023: Kittery, ME 03904 Sacopee Valley Hawks (Cornish, ME) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad smash the host Traip Rangers (Kittery, ME), 36-0 in a league challenge.
The Hawks now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Dominic for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. Sacopee Valley will face a Saints squad coming off a 25-7 non-league win over Mount View (Thorndike, ME). The Saints record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Traip falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rangers host Wells (Wells, ME) to face the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 28. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Wells lost 18-1 in their recent league challenge against York (York, ME)
