April 25, 2024: Hendersonville, NC 28792 East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC), 17-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, East Rutherford upgrades its record to 20-1 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to R-S Central (Rutherfordton, NC) to battle the Hilltoppers in a Mountain Foothills 7 1A/2A test on Tuesday, April 30. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a record of 20-1. R-S Central won 8-0 in their recent non-league test against A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC)
With the defeat, North Henderson falls to 15-6 on the season. The Knights travel to Pisgah (Canton, NC) to battle the Bears in a Mountain Seven 3A test on Friday, April 26. The Bears come into the test with a record of 9-7. Pisgah lost 6-0 in their recent league test against North Henderson (Hendersonville, NC)
