Laguna Creek Cardinals (Elk Grove, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting McClatchy Lions (Sacramento, CA), 10-3 in a league test.

With the win, Laguna Creek upgrades its record to 18-5 on the season. The Cardinals host Kennedy (Sacramento, CA) to battle the Cougars in a Metropolitan Conference test on Tuesday, April 30. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 11-11.

With the defeat, McClatchy moves to 16-8 on the year. The Lions travel to Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a Metropolitan Conference match on Friday, April 26.
