The North Central Panthers crushed the visiting Pike Red Devils baseball team by a tally of 17-7 in Thursday's league bout.

The Panthers now hold a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Greenfield-Central for a non-league bout on Monday, April 29. North Central will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 league loss to New Palestine (New Palestine, IN). The Cougars record now stands at 7-5.

Next, the Red Devils face the Muncie Burris Owls (Muncie, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, April 26. Pike will attempt to advance on its 6-8 season record. The Owls enter the bout with a 5-5 record after their 11-4 league loss to Anderson Prep Academy (Anderson, IN).
