The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Norwin Knights (North Huntingdon, PA) and the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), saw Norwin's volleyball squad beat Hempfield Area by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Norwin upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Knights travel to Plum (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Mustangs in a WPIAL 3A 3 bout on Tuesday, April 30. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Spartans now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Obama Academy of International Studies for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 27.
