Virginia High School Lacrosse - Benedictine holds off Norfolk Collegiate
April 25, 2024: Norfolk, VA 23505 The Benedictine Cadets tipped the host Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks lacrosse team by a score of 7-6 in Thursday's non-league match.
With the win, Benedictine upgrades its record to 5-8 on the season. The Cadets travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to play the Huskies in a VISAA Division 1 match on Saturday, April 27. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 7-6. Flint Hill lost 6-4 in their recent non-league match against Sidwell Friends (Washington, DC)
With the defeat, Norfolk Collegiate drops to 5-6 on the season. The Mighty oaks travel to Nansemond-Suffolk Academy (Suffolk, VA) to play the Saints in a Tidewater Independent match on Tuesday, April 30. The Saints go into the match with a record of 8-4. Nansemond-Suffolk Academy lost 11-8 in their recent league match against Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA)
