Wyoming High School Soccer - Riverton held off by Rock Springs
April 25, 2024: Rock Springs, WY 82902 In Thursday's league battle, the host Rock Springs Tigers soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Riverton Wolverines.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Natrona County (Casper, WY). The Mustangs come into the 4A West battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Natrona County was tipped by Jackson Hole (Jackson, WY), 8-0, in a league test.
With the loss, Riverton drops to 1-7 on the season. The Wolverines host Evanston (Evanston, WY) to meet the Devils in a 4A West test on Friday, April 26. The Devils come into the test with a record of 2-9. Evanston lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Rock Springs (Rock Springs, WY)
