Vermont High School Softball - Burlington bounces Mt. Mansfield
April 25, 2024: Burlington, VT 05401 The Burlington Seahorses routed the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars softball squad by a final score of 29-13 in Thursday's league battle.
The Seahorses (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT). The Green Knights go into the Metro battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Rice Memorial notched a victory over Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT), 14-8, in a league battle.
The Cougars now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Hartford for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 27. Mt. Mansfield will meet a Hurricanes squad coming off a 17-14 league win over Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT). The Hurricanes record now stands at 2-1.
