Vermont High School Softball - Mt. Mansfield loses to Colchester
May 11, 2024: Jericho, VT 05465 The Colchester Lakers softball team scored 26 runs and limited the host Mt. Mansfield Cougars to 0 in the Lakers league triumph on Saturday.
With the triumph, Colchester moves its record to 7-2 on the year. The Lakers host Rutland (Rutland, VT) to clash with the Raiders in a SVL A game on Tuesday, May 14. The Raiders come into the game with a record of 3-5. Rutland won 14-2 in their recent league game against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT)
In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Champlain Valley Union Redhawks (Hinesburg, VT) in a Metro test, on Tuesday, May 14. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record. The Redhawks enter the test with a 1-7 record after their 12-0 league loss to Missisquoi Valley (Swanton, VT).
