Ohio High School Softball - New Riegel bounces Calvert
April 25, 2024: Tiffin, OH 44883 New Riegel Blue Jackets (New Riegel, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Calvert Senecas (Tiffin, OH), 8-1 in a league challenge.
The Blue Jackets now own a 16-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Woodmore for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 26.
With the loss, Calvert falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Senecas host St. Joseph Central Catholic (Fremont, OH) to face the Crimson Streaks in a Sandusky Bay - River challenge on Friday, April 26. The Crimson Streaks enter the challenge with a record of 7-7. St. Joseph Central Catholic lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against North Baltimore (North Baltimore, OH)
